East Demi Bastion, Dover Castle
East Demi Bastion was constructed in Dover Castle’s east ditch overlooking the harbour. It is directly linked to the castle via East Demi passage. A lower level, accessed via either of two spiral staircases, ends with lookouts over the harbour.
Two gun emplacements would have added further fire power over the harbour area.
